World Tiger Conservation Day

Today World Tiger Conservation Day. In 1913
A.D there were about one lakh tiger and in 2013
A.D it reached to 3274 in the world.  Tiger decreased by 97%
in this 100 years. If this rate continues in
coming five years tiger will extinct from nature.
Nepal aiming to conserve tiger started Tiger
Conservation Programme since 2009. Nepal aim
to increase tiger number by double upto 2022.
Now the number of tiger in Nepal is 198.
